Maybe it could be a good way to control audio, and it's less expensive than a
fader box (350$ for 21').
I'd like 2 know if it's possible to work with such a device,
especially with our prefered audio card. And it
would look really Hi-tech when working:)

nice idea (not new but nice), but if that touchscreen isn´t able to follow more than one finger-motion simultanously, it just _looks_ like high tech... like the new MS-mouse with the futuristic red light.

and i don´t know if these 'cheap' touchscreens (those for less than 5000€) can handle more input at a one time...

...but apart from that it would be a very comfortable and intuitive way to mix within pc...

Well. I think this kind of interface should be really convenient, but I haven't seen such 5000$ anywhere....
I hope there's something interesting for less... In other case, I think I'll build my own fader box... (100$ of parts + patience + soldering iron)

Subject: did not test, i _guessed_ ...but...

shame... i did not test, i _guessed_ it. seems quite logical (to me, that doesn´t have to mean anything, i know ;)

well, if that would be fact that you could draw several movements at the same time on such a screen, how would windows (or whatever else) behave? do i have several cursors then? i don´t think so...

if you run a virtual mixer, and your sequencer moves several faders, it doesn´t use the cursor, it uses MIDI controller events. your mouse doesn´t. so i don´t think that the screen wold behave like you want it to.
what do you think?
