Beautiful choirs - but is there an Akai version ?

I'm looking at getting something like Symphony Of Voices (Spectrasonics) or Voices Of The Apocalypse (Quantum Leap). I prefer the darker sound of VOTA, but it only seems to be in Giga format. Does anyone know if there's an Akai version ?

not sure, but can't translator convert them from giga to either akai or sts format?

i don't think translator or any program does giga to akai, i've looked for something that does it but found nothing

Awave converts from Giga into other formats. Have you heard about the VoTA word building application? I haven't heard it perform yet, but there was much discussion about it in the Northern Sounds Giga forums... It seems that you can actually build words from the vowels and consonants in the soundbank. This only works with Giga, of course, but it's worth watching...

Had a look at that - very interesting. It seems to get a good result takes a lot of fiddling (what doesn't?). I'm already bedazzled with all my new goodies. I'll be coming up for air again in a few months.
