Hi,
i am a new user of pulsar2 plus/sfp 3.1.
How can i record wav files (final mix)
and midi(sts2000p) to wav in one sfp-project?
Working with cubase vst 5.1 and win2k in
standard pc modus.
Which sfp-example-project should i use
or configure?
Many thanks
Recording with SFP 3.1in Cubase VSt 5.1

There are many ways to set up your projects in Pulsar/SFP... I have just been using one of the example set-ups from the old 3.0.1 manual.. looks like this:

When recording, I just record enable a stereo track in Cubase and mute it in the mixer. Then just press record on the Cubase transport bar and away it goes... remember to un-mute your track to be able to play it back after you finish recording.
Other people have a way of doing this without having to mute the track you are recording to.... I think they use an ASIO desination module with multiple outs and give them each a seperate BUS input into Cubase.
There are yet other configurations that allow you to bypass the Pulsar/SFP mixer and do all your mixing in the Cubase Audio Mixer. You can search the forums.. maybe in Tips and Tricks (Bypassing the Big Mixer).
Have fun.
