Hi,

Im a Cakewalk Sonar user and I need to know if anyone is using Luna II with Scope Fusion Platform and Sonar successfully. I hear that the CW plugins dont appear as VST plugins using VSTtoDX adapter. Has anyone found a way round this ? Do the WDM drives give low latency ?
I dont have a Luna yet. I need to know if this SFP system works fine with Sonar as I'm too old to learn Logic. I'd rather buy someother card than have to learn (and buy) a new sequencer software. Please Help !

Well, I'm using Sonar v1.3.1 (alongside with Logic 5.1) and Pulsar II with SFP 3.1. But as long as I have crappy PCI overflow problem (I'm going to upgrade my PC soon), I'm using no audio at all so far. So Pulsar is used as a synth exclusively (and it works perfectly this way). Thus I cannot tell you anything about those WDM drivers. Yet I've seen some people here say that 24-bit WDM drivers are unusable in Win XP with crackles and stuff. I cannot confirm this and would like to know about this more too.

Well, looks like Sonar and CW cards don't go together smooth after all. I wish they did !

This is a bit OT but since you're thinking of selling your card maybe you'd think about some other options... For example, AcidPro3 works smooth as silk with Pulsar. Obviously Acid has no MIDI worth speaking of, but I believe that AcidPro4 due in a few months will have a much improved MIDI spec and perhaps VSTi/DXi as well. You might consider a "wait and see" approach. And who knows, maybe CW will deliver a miracle in the meantime....

Thanks for the tip Spirit. Maybe I will try Acid 4. But thats exactly what I want to avoid, buying and learning a new sequencer just so that I can use CW cards.
