Could someone tell me where I can find a sts-set or anything similar of a horn / trumpet. They don't have to 'realistic' sounding, but you should be able to recognize them ...

Greetz and thx in advance all

brass is really difficult. I want to do a lot of writing with trumpets etc and lets fact it, most brass multi-samples aren't even recognisable.

However, the Pro Samples brass CD is pretty good (the best I've yet heard) and £29.99. http://www.thesoundsite.net has a good cello and a good bassoon as well, if that tickles your fancy !

If you can use awave studio to covert from the .gig format, then go see the free trumpet downloads here: http://www.projectsam.com

These are 4 or 5 different lenghts of notes at two velocities per samples and sound pretty good.

This looks really really good eliam. Just one thing - can I get a translator for free anywhere ? My wallet will scream if I keep on abusing it so. . .
