I did this using my current set up of 2 x luna 2 cards ( I got greedy . . .) Again, really simple in terms of set up, just sts3000 with a pro-sample CD of brass, the miniscope is the synth lead, and dubsub as bass.

This one I can properly edit, so criticism PLEASE !

Enjoy,

good job. i always like more drums, but i wouldn't place a judgement on the effect you are trying to create.brings to mind films from the sixties were the protagonist discovers some hard but deep truth and decides to deal with it.(just b4 the climax or just after into the credits)

cute lead.. I love these. Very light, "airy" feel. The brass could use a little more tweaking but it does its job fiarly well in creating this mood.

Thanks all. I would LOVE to get real trumpet for the solo in the middle. In fact I know a really good trumpeter but don't have any good enough recording equipment set up.

I did play around with the drum levels but I decided I didn't want them to intimidate the harmonies too much. Having said that I might try and raise them a bit for the (very modest) climax.

p.s. like the sixties analogy !

p.p.s. how would you suggest I tweak the brass specifically ?
