HI!
I have a problem with the MasterVerb fx. When I'm load the 5ºth MasterVerb appears a dialog box of "Dsp capability limit reached". But if I use MasterVerb Classic I can load until 10.
I have a Pulsar I Plus + Elektra, Windows Me.
This problem may be because a error on the Masterverb?
Dsp capability limit reached using MasterVerb

Well, as the MVC has a fixed early reflections algorythm it's bound to be less DSP hungry than MV (for which you can choose between different algorythms). They didn't make a "classic" for nothing you know.
So indeed your performance sounds about right Darkdog. Ask yourself if you really need those 5 MV's or could you do the same with a few MVC?

As I understand it, it is not that the MasterVerb (the more recent of the two) is badly programmed, but rather that it is far more sophisticated than the classic (MVC). So you would expect the MV to take up more room. With 6 chips, and with the basic sampler/mixer and probably a few other things besides, I seem to remember being able to load up about 5 MV's (not at my music machine for these few weeks boo hoo)
So I wouldn't get too worried, unless you are using many chips and are still getting this problem.

Here's what your manual Pulsar Effects says, p.3:
"The MasterVerb produces a range of
authentic early reflection models, while
the Classic version provides only a single
simulation of early reflections. With
regard to DSP usage, the Classic version
is more economical than the MasterVerb.
The Masterverb’s DSP cost is justified by
a more realistic impression of space,
however. The reverb section is identical
in both versions. Choose the version to
use with respect to the production
requirements. For an accurate sense of
spaciousness, use the MasterVerb. To
save DSP resources, or to produce only
the atmospheric component, use the
Classic version."
It wasn't that hard
