Hi All, I'm looking for a Virtual Analog synth or something that would be good for Drum & Bass/ Nu Skool Breaks type bass/lead/fx sounds. I've already got the Vsti version of Pro 52 but it doesn't really cut the cheese fro me. I was thinking along the lines of Pro One/ Dub Sub II. Anybody got any recommednations? My budget is ~ € 100.
Thanks,
Ronan.

I'm currently getting on quite well with DubSub 2 for making Drum and Bass. You can get a demo from http://www.track0.com/wavelength. The sound is pretty dirty.
There's another thread somewhere on this topic. Here it is:

yes! dubsub 2 is GRRREAT (says tony the tiger)
- also check out wavelength's "thrust" - it is great too.
you need the free "Saturn" on the device pages here.
Also, check out wavelength's "Inferno" and "Blue Synth" mods on the freebees page at his sight (link above). The blue synth and dubsub 2 have pitch envelopes. i trust you know what those are good for.
