Nova Hard 2 Patch for Modular 2 by fra77x

3 Multi Oscillators
3 Adsr & Mod Envelopes
2 Multi A Lfo with feedback
3 serial connected stereo inserts
Simulation of the Sync skew operation
The 2 of the envelopes and the 2 lfo 's can modulate Pitch - Sync each oscillator individually

Some notes: The patch uses the obsidian invertor module (i have include the dsp file in the zip )

It is heavy enough. 3 voices only on a Pulsar 2 to allow the presets to load without interrupts (it can "reach" 4)

On the modulation area the switches are used to invert the modulation signals.
They are situated by order (lfo1-lfo2-env2-env3). At the first position the signal is inverted. At the second its normal.

To determine an external rate for the lfo's use the frequency divider (1st-2nd outs)
There are several modules on the far right ?(hidden..) Don't change their values.

They are 3 xfademod modules above the oscs. They determine the sync skew on each osc.
At value 0 the waveforms are clear. (no sync). The Global Sync Skew fader in the middle does what it says it does.
Watch the presets and experiment while listening 1 osc at the time.

have fun!!

Hello to all of u. well i returned. i had stop working this year so to have time for music but the dream is over... i 'm back in work.

For the patch now no it isn't soft sync and the truth is that the algorithm on Nova hardware is different than my simulation. The main idea is to have another modulation for the pitch of the osc and another for the synced osc. In terms of sound u can get similar results...

heh, you musta caught my post before i deleted it

i decided to post the message on the modular talk forum instead (didn't notice you posted the patch there when writting a reply here).

back to work eh? modular patch creating would be a nice job for me ! i know this isn't what you mean though.

if you don't mind me enquiring i'm a little curious what came about this year off you took to pusue music?

i've had dreams of doing that in the past myself.

hmm, thanks for clarifying a bit on this "skew sync".

i'd have to examine t the patch (can't) or look at a screenshot to gauge what is going on.

best.

Edit your original post in the 'modular patches' and upload the jpg just below where you selected to upload your patch. You will also need to browse for your patch again, it will also be renewed on z.

Oops I mailed you screenshot w/o the wires.

another cross post

sure,

go to your posting for nova in the modular patches forum and at the bottom of the your intial message there are some icons - one of them will allow you to edit your post, or make ammendments.

once there you are presented with i believe 5 fields where you can "upload" a file. one of them is for "images" or something similar. click on the button, your computer will ask you for a file, select it, then wait till the page refreshes on its own. tah dah.
