Hi all,
sure this is a newbie question (I defintely am), so accept my apologies in advance.
Is it possible to use additional devices (like those available at PlanetZ in the devices section) in XTC mode?
Or, to state it the other way, how can I set the XTCpro to run in standard pulsar mode?
I went thru the manuals and searched the forum but I didn't find the answer.
Any help will be really appreciated.
Thanks,
~Scary

Kim,
Thanks. The replies I got here and from pulsar-scope@yahoogroups.com are pointing me in a new direction... I start to think that XTC is a nice idea if you intend to transfer some load from your host CPU to the DSP card in a simple manner, no buzz no frills
Now, before I upgrade a 2-weeks-old card SW I'd love to understand a bit better what's going on with v3.1
Quoting CW,
If you check the SW specs (see http://www.creamware.de/en/Products/sfp/software.asp) it seems that with XTCpro you have almost the same functionalities as with Pulsar II (apart from STS-2000 and ModularV2).
Now, this won't solve the problem that even the Poison add-on doesn't work (got my registration key, checked .dev file in PulsarXTCDevices folder and Poison.dll in VSTPlugins directory, no way Poison would show in VSTi menu).
But I'm sure it must be me. I mean, I understand that I'm at the beginning of the steep learning curve of this powerful tool. Otherwise, I wouldn't be a proud Neophyte Poster
Sure, I'd love when an XTC user will show up and tell me how to get the work done. For what I got 'til now, documentation didn't helped me that much.
Cheers,
~Scary

Quoting CW,
(see http://www.creamware.de/en/Products/sfp/default.asp)With version 3.1 the basic set of system functions is now entirely uniform across all systems. All DSP systems are equipped with the same basic software. This offers - among other things - the unique live features, made possible by the SCOPE DSP technology. Software studio tools can thus be used exactly like external hardware.
