A16 Ultra problem -HIGH pitch sound when connecting

I just blew my ears

for some reason i have a problem since a few days. When I connect my ADAT A Source to my PulsarMixer a HIGH pitch sound is blasted in!

The instrument plugged to the A16 Ultra is a Roland XV3080 sound module

note: it was working fine a few days ago!

this happens whether i turn the XV3080 on or off

... im just realizing that it ONLY does this on ADAT A SOURCE 1, and 3

weird! would it be the cables? what do you think?

he unplugged osme of the ADAT lighpipe cables

OUPS!
