I cleared phpbb sessions & cache on the database due to people having a hard time logging in.

It was just my plan to get your attention for more donations
Kidding. I did some DNS work and it would have triggered a regeneration of the SSL certificate(s) for the forum subdomain & etc. So, apologies but at least you know I'm here.

Brave browser shows me this.
Brave beta browser works fine at login.

It's the SSL certs affecting cookies and sessions for any login prior to the last few days. Log out, clear cookies, close & reopen browser, log in again. You should be able to remove just 'scopeusers.com' cookies and none other.

Ok, worked now just fine, thanks.

yes, deleting scopeusers.com cookies from browser settings did help
but previously, clicking 'clean cookies' from within the forum login form did NOT help!

I did not know that was a button here. I always do it in browser settings.
For the full story, there was a forum update and after doing it the sub forum to folder D reference wasn’t functioning properly so I had to undo and reapply the DNS redirect to the subdomain. So the old CERT was made invalid.
On the plus side, I do keep the forums updated
