If you can get both Pulsar cards on IRQ 9 sharing with ONLY themselves, there is a chance of using 7ms. But on a 500mhz, you might experience clicks with lots of audio channels and any CPU-intensive VSTi's, etc, so 13ms may be more solid. My personal rules are 7ms @ 700mhz minimum, and 4ms @ 1000mhz minimum. I like extra CPU headroom so there are no chances of glitches.

IRQ setup is not very tidy, Do you actually need to use your com1, com2, LPT1 and usb ports if not disable them in the bios, that will help IRQ sharing problems.
Also some bioses let you disable 'PNP os installed' and on the same page you can tell it what IRQ's you want the various cards to use, (so that pulsars share)
Although as Subhuman says the latency will be largely dependant on cpu speed. But for all round better performance, optimising your IRQ setup is a must.

Oh and Pnp os was already disabled..

Thanks Already guys, I love this place...

It would be better if they were both on IRQ5, but try it now, and see if it is stable at a lower notch (7ms).

Hi all, I'm using an ASUS A7V266-E and I would recommend that you take a look at the manuel for your mobo. On my mobo irq10 has priority 5. For the best result you should use the irq that has the highest priority on the idebus. I'm not shure why on my mobo it's higher irq's that has higher priority but it was written so in the manual.

Interesting info you've got there, but my manual doesn't say anything on irq priority...

I now have them on irq 4 and will work for it for a will, and i think i'll stick with 13ms till i have the money for a new comp... And maybe i'll udate my cpu ( 500mhz ) to the highest possible on my mobo... ( how high would this be ?? )
Thanks for info anyway... laterz

What motherboard do you have???. I'm almost shure that you will need a new mobo if you want the fastest cpu. But to be shure go to the website (motherboard manufactor) and check out the details. You might be lucky and just updating your bios can do the trick.
