Well, I've spent a few hours to discover the sonic power of this great Xmas gift from John Bowen (simply a legend in sound design history) and I have to say that playing this little cool instrument is really a breeze... What a great boost to the Pulsar synths collection is this! I found really inspiring the Wavelength's Lo-Fi too, so I wish to post a big thanks to John and Stephen for these wonderful new devices and... I have to say it: I think I'll go buy the Ambient Synth next year.
Pulsar people, start your modems...

Comb Plus for XMas! Tanks a lot John and Stephen!!! (by Fili
Subject: LoFi and CombPlus
Yes, I agree: now we've got two wonderful new synthesizers, even if I think that LoFi is better than CombPlus (I love all these reverse-kind sounds, walls of atmos etc.).
Just one thing: it's sad that no one here and in the Creamware forum tried to post a big thanks to Wavelength and Zargmusic (even if I think that these cool gifts are a little promo for their bigger devices).
C'mon: let's make this thread a loooooong list of "thank you John and Stephen".

Subject: What a wonderful christmas !
Let me join the choir !
It is warming my old and otherwise cynical heart to get two so wonderful and unexpected presents for christmas this year, gone are the sighs and moans and fake smiles after receiving the usual socks, ties and the odd gallon of Old Spice (could it be used as a paint-stripper if mixed carefully with last years gallon?).
Both the comb and the Lo-fi is excellent synths coming wrapped with some very useful presets to start off your career, don't forget these guys when you get famous (for using their sounds) !
Even Creamware, bless them, has joined the christmas-parade and thrown in a package of effects which is definitely worth a download and a listen, go for it !
Even 2.04a made it, I had no big issues with 2.01, but it is good to see, that things are being worked on continuesly !
My only problem now, is how to tell my aunt (82 and with very selective hearing) that next year I would like some software called Ambient, AvalonII and Vectron and Zorba and... which can be bought and downloaded on the internet instead of the usual home-knitted socks and the bloody Old Spice...
A merry christmas and a happy new year to all you people out there, best wishes to the lot of you, especially John Bowen (Zarg), Stephen Hummel (Wavelength), Creamware (keep up the good work, it's getting better and better), and last but not least John S. Cooper for PlanetZ and this wonderful forum.
Keep your modems blazing !
