I have a Pulsar1 running under XP. The card is installed in a C/Dock II docking station (2 PCI) with a DELL CPXJ 750 Latitude laptop. On the most part Pulsar (3.01b) runs quite well with the odd overflow message. I also use Logic Audio 4.8.1.
I have noticed that when I create a drumkit with the STS4000 and play it from my Trapkat I occasionally hear slight glitches in the audio. It sounds similar to voice stealing but this is not the case as the error usually appears when I start to play and there a pleantly of voices available.
This doesn't appear to happen with short samples (ie the included AKAI CD) But naturaly I would like to use the larger sounds from my CD Library (Bob Clearmountain etc).
Has any one else noticed this? It very apparent when I play fast passages - rolls etc. - not something that you would produce easily from a keyboard controller.
There is always the likely possibility that it's choking on the system buss in the Docking station.
Any ideas?
