just a quick one: i liked the beginning of the track, but then my attention was lost a bit. imho i'd take away the 4:4 beat and slow it down a bit so you get a chilled out song, or i'd speed it up a bit and add some weird synth line. just my opinion.

I like it too - i tend not to like 4x4 kicks (actually, I tend to hate it!), but somehow it works for me, although it could be switched up at transitions or something.

the lack of ending bothered me, and it never got off the ground; a lead synth somewhere? something in the higher frequencies maybe - it was kinda "dark" sonically speaking . . .

The bass line does have a groove that would have been fun to communicate with.. so I'd do something other than 4x4 too. But the tune does have a strange ambience to it. It doesn't come out at you, and it's not like thin air... but it's just mysteriously there.

Constructive criticism is a great thing, it's exactly what I need to get me off my arse and try harder. Thanks guys you've given me inspiration to keep working on this track and make it better. I probably rushed it out there, but now I know why I did post it. You've really just confirmed the doubts I already had about it lingering in the back of my mind. I just wish I didn't have to go to work and wasn't so god damn tired all the time, so I could do what I really want to be doing. Anyhow enough whining, till next time.

Yeah, Planet Z is a great place to get a tune rushed out. People have real ears here!
