...up to the inputs of my pulsar then route the signal to the pulsar outputs then route that across the aux returns of my desk and use fx in both pulsar mixers AND the desk at the same time???

That's one of my favorite things about this system, the flexible routing. I mentioned it before, but I have all 8 of my AUX/BUS sends going directly over ADAT into Pulsar, and then I have my effects connected directly to the CW cards, this way I can route any audio signal from the external mixer to the external effects, or I can also use the external effects on any of the Creamware sound sources. Like a digital patchbay.

Yes! This is the exact reason I decided to buy pulsar in the first place. The amazing routing capabilities!
