erm, I want to buy an emu xtreme lead sound module to add to my current set up.
I already have a yamaha cs2x synth plugged in via midi in and out. what would be the best set up for me to use the emu sound module. do i need to buy a new midi box or can i use the pulsar midi thru to play back the emu sound module.
I have opened up cubase 5.0 and tried using the pulsar midi out 2 to play back midi gear and cannot get it to play. is the pulsar midi out 2 the thru connector coming out of the back of pulsar card.?

no. it's pulsar midi dest 1.
load 2 seq source modules in project, one for pulsar instruments and one for outboard gear.
you have to connect the second one to pulsar midi dest 1. you will have this signal output at midi out of pulsar board.
the seq.source modules are seen in cubase as "pulsar midi 1" for puls. inst. and "pulsar midi 2" for outboard gear.
