Monoinsert is the module which should allow
to use any of the Pulsar effects as inserts
in Modular2.
I just tried it out but I couldn't save
the patch as soon as an effect is
actually loaded into the insert module.
(error message appears instead of saving)
- Has anybody seen this?
- Is anybody using these insert modules?
peace
Daniel
Monoinsert in Modular2 under Pulsar3 not working?
Hmm, I think algorythm used inserts in a patch <a href=http://www.planetz.com/forums/viewtopic ... 15>here</a>. Also list what version of Pulsar you're using.
I am working with Pulsar 3.01
As I just found out it works as long
as the old insert effects from
Pulsar 2.xx are used (from the folder
Pulsar2stuff)
The new insert effects from Pulsar 3.01
(overdrive, new delay..) will cause the error message mentioned above.
Seems to be another bug in 3.01.
Can anybody else try this out?
thanks a lot
Daniel

There is a workaround (if I'm thinking of the same bug.)
You can save the patch with an empty FX slot, and then save presets with FX loaded.
It's a pain, but it should work.
You'll also get the same problem when trying to save a project with effects loaded into the FX slor - so again, save the patche preset with effects, then take any effects out of the slot before saving the project, and then reload the preset when you reopen the patch.
