WIN XP still with 8 wave out like W2K!?Aaargh!!!

Hey mates,i've recently installed winXP after using for some months w2k but my biggest problem with w2k (only 8wave outs for pulsar)still remains!I can believe that someone says (i can't rememba now check the "ugh,the wave drivers..." topic for more infoz)into that forum,that XP solves that fuckin limitation...what's going on,mates?

I said that once too. Now tried it at home, you're right, 8 wav drivers only. Tried 2 Pc's, each on XPpro.
Anyone knows the trick?

i thought that this was part of the win2000/xp problem and that until ms fixed this,98 was still best.

Well, this caused me to switch to Logic (from SONAR). Luckily I managed to solve my Logic/Korg N5ex compatibility problem (thanks to Pulsar multiple midi drivers), so now bye bye SONAR, Samplitude etc...

Btw, one little question - can I use 24-bit ASIO modules in XP (haven't tried it yet)?

I think you can use 8 -interleaved- devices with XP. This would give you (8 x 8) 64 ins and 64 outs.

I'm only using 1 interleaved device, but I think we agreed that you could use 8.

Try it.
