Some samples like brasswinds when loaded on th sts 2000p loose their midi functions as attack, sustain, pitch bend.etc...(on sampler f loaded,there is no problem).do i need an upgrade like pro pack sts 3000, or is a problem of 2000p configuration?please...HELP

Depends on what format the samples you're loading are in! SoundFont support is extremely basic, and the STS2000P plays AKAI S1000 format best.

STS3000 allows you to change the parameters of an Akai program (or save your programs as STS native), but if you don't want to upgrade you can alter or create your own programs using Wav2Akai or STS creator:

the problem is that the samples i use are all in akai s1000 format.but when loading for example, flute sounds like a piano.(attack and release of a piano sound)TOO strange...

did you try the samples from the Cd that came with the card? same problem? if so, check your conversion program.
