luna2 3.01 does not generate spdif output

Hi there,
I am a highly frustrated luna2 owner.
I've recently bought their 3.01 software upgrade from 2.5 and downloaded it (several times).
It all installs fine etc. (although I have to manually install the drivers).
However, I cannot get the spdif to output any sound.
I can the sound going through luna2, since the meter levels rise and fall. However, nothing comes out of my luna2->spdif->digital speaker combo.
I have tried uninstalling 3.01 and reinstalling 2.5 and 2.5 still works fine. I've tried this several times, checked the settings so that master is selected and spdif is clicked.
There is a small led next to spdif on the settings menu... is that supposed to light up
? It doesn't.
I am running Windows ME.
I strongly suspect that there is an issue with the software, since I've tried all combinations I can think of.
Would anyone like to shed some light????

The light should light up only if you have setted Luna as Slave of an spdif INPUT.

And there is a patch for this spdif on Luna, i had the same trouble... Gime your email, i'll send it to you (this is small) Or take the spdif devices from your previous installation

Excellent news... I think that the creamware web-site leaves a lot to be desired... it is not entirely obvious... the drivers page just contains a whole load of what seem to be quite old (e.g. 98/99) drivers...

It's the spdif from the old luna 2.5

check your mail...
