Hi all

I was one of those unfortunate ones with huge noiseproblems with Pulsar.
My setup was 533p3@400, AOpen ax63pro mainboard, standard realteck NIC, Pulsar1 and I used my trackball thru the USB port. Pulsar 3.0 software
With analog input direct into a channel I had noticeable noise comming in.
The analog outs had noise too (even with nothing connected).
If I reset the peakcounter on the channel with my trackball it would peak at -48dB (input gain set neutral - 12 o'clock position).
I could generate noise by moving the pointer.

This is my new setup:
Duron 800MHz, ECS k7s5a mainboard, onboard NIC, same Pulsar1 and trackball (now thru ps2). 3.01 software.
Now my noise thru analog ins are solid -78 - -80. Mouse movements has no affect. Mouse clicks has no effect. Analog outs makes far less noise too.

Much have happened thru the last 1½monts.
So I am sorry to say, I do not remember:
- if I tried with the trackball in ps2, before my system upgrade.
- if I tested noise levels with 3.00 software before stepping up to 3.01.
Still maybe someone can use something of the above written.

By the way. I use no other PCI cards in my new set-up. So far I have only made a small test of Pular1 in slot4. This leaves it all alone on IRQ11 - if anyone is interested.
