what if Pulsar converted it's midi control form what it is now to the next:
Present situation:
-> One midi channel per device, that's +/-120CC#.
-> The channel setting is assignable to midi CC#.
-> If a CC# is assigned to any, it listens to all channels.
In-my-head-modification uses all of the present, but as extra:
-> Give a device 16 + 1(any) channels.
So then you could:
-> Select the channel before CC# assignment.
-> Assign 'Midi Channel' setting on the device to CC# nn, channel 'any'.
-> Now setup one channel to start assigning to one group of faders/knobs. Avoid to use the CC# nn from channel 'any', cos it will be used to navigate thru groups of faders/knobs (ie. mixer channels or Mod modules)
-> Send CC# nn (any channel will do), to go to next group of faders/knobs or to navigate between groups!
