Yesterday I decided to purchase one of the synth plug-ins from the Creamware website. I choose the Poison synth because the price was right. I just wanted something to play around with to familiarize myself with some of the other features of Luna.
Anyway, when I tried to install Poison, it seemed to destroy my Luna program installation. The first thing I noticed was that the Luna icon in the task bar disappeared. When I tried to load Luna, it stalled and wouldn't come up. I assumed I had hosed something during the installation so I tried to remove Luna and re-install everything from scratch. During the de-install process, it seemed to die near the end (not all the files were removed). I had to use the task manager to get out of the de-install routine. A mess to be sure.
Anyway, I reinstalled Luna and checked it. Seemed OK. Then I tried installing Poison again and same problem as before. Poison seems to be hosing my Luna installation.
One last comment: When I purchased Poison, I expected to be able to automatically download the file from the on-line shop but there seemed to be a problem with that as well. From what I could tell by the cryptic messages, I was going to have to download the file from Creamware's FTP server. I managed to get the file without too much fuss but I wonder if this might not have something to do with my problems.
Anyone out there have a suggestion? Thanks in advance.
