I threw out all my old transformers cause I didn't think anyone used AC anymore. Well, they were regulated, but I would just cut out the regulator. Time to look around Digikey and Newark
It is an Ultra. I found a nice 12V AC 2A on Newark for around 20 bucks. It will have to do. I used to build power supplies just for fun. That's not a bad price, considering a Hammond tube 400V transformer cost me around $100.
