Hello everyone,
I recently installed Modular IV and everything seems to work fine, except the Tape delays an the BB delay. The sounds of the delays have a high pitched noise added tot the signal, and the BB delay sounds more like an 8-bit delay. Is this normal (I can't imagine) or am I doing something wrong? I hope anyone can help me out.
Thanks and greetings,

Re: Modular IV: strange noises with tape delays and BB delay
Depending how you use the BBDelay, it can sound lo-fi, since it is literally resampling the audio stream (a BBD is a fixed number of samples long, and the delay time is changed by moving the audio stream faster or slower through it). If you make the delay time really long, you are slowing down the sample rate, and that reduces quality (just like a real BBD).
Not sure if the tape delay has a feedback path in your patch that brings out the high frequency? Or maybe you are adding the delayed signal to another, and that is creating a comb filter?

Wel jksuperstar, I think you're right about the BB delay. I reinstalled all software and the other delays seem ok now. I'll post again if I detect other raritities. Thanks for both replies!
