i like to work in cubase. that's reason why i bought xtc and second pulsard board. but i didn't know that can't be able to use gigastudio, sts and wavelab in xtc mode. so, now i don't use xtc mode.
custom pulsar's mode is important to me for recording and that's reason why i use rm242 mixer as default in all my projects.
but with pulsar 3.0 and 3.01 i don't know how to save insert efects parameters with project.
i made project for drum recording, with 7 compressors & limiters, set parameters for all devices but when i open this project again i found that don't save parameters for insert devices.
i can't work on this way and i'm back on 2.04 again.
anybody know how to solve this - what i doing wrong!?

thanks!

save the parameters to a preset for the device. this might help the project to "remember." this fixed similiar problems I had with synth's forgetting MIDI settings . . .

The best way is that each device's setting should be saved into the presets, that way when you have multiple projects, you should be able to recall the setups easily. It is same way how other VST/FX setting in MIDI-Audio-Seq program works, isn't it?
The 2.04 does same way???

no!!! in 2.04 you don't need to save any preset! in vst too! is enough to save project or song!!

Try the new project with simple stuff like mixer and one inserted compressor or something like that. If this works, meant that you need to replace all of them for new V3.01 (this was happen before). Otherwise, this might be a bug?

sandro, I just tested this with Pulsar V3.01, and the ProMixer, and the settings seem to be recalled fine for me, even without saving a Prest (which I think is probably still a good idea, so you can load parameters into different projects, too)

yes, i have my own presets but i don't want reload them every time! if this work in 2.04 why can't work in 3.0 or 3.01?! i don't need propack or promix. i pay money for rm242 and this is my fovourite and pretty enough!
please, try this with big mixer or rm242 if you have!?
btw. i spend days for trying to work with 3.0! first i try with xtc but can't work confortably, then i have problem with old device sts, after that i have blue screen problem (sometimes) when opening giga, now i have this problem.....
with 2.04 i don't have any problem - everything working fine.... but i can't use new devices..... :???::

thanks to all!!!

Tried this on BigMixerV2B, and you are right, settings aren't saved upon reloading the project.

Definitely a bug on the older mixers & V3.0/V3.01... Does work fine on ProMixer though. I guess you should email Creamware: support@creamware.de and tell them (if they don't already know).

finaly i solve this problem. i put "channel" before rm242 and put insert efects in "chanel". now i can save project with insert efects setings, but "channel" have only 2 inserts and i can't find insert rack in v3?!
btw. i found that compressors from v3 works better then from 2.04a. have much speeder attack for vocal, rap and speech recording.
with old compressors i set atack to 0ms, but they can't work so fast!?
is it possible!?

It is called 'MultiFX S.dev' and you can find it in effects/stereo/others or 'MultiFX M.dev' in mono directory.
