How to get MIDI working with Cubase

I am able to use pre-recorded MIDI in Cubase to trigger VST's and playback with the Scope hardware but I have no idea how to use the MIDI ports on my Pulsar 2 card with Cubase.

I can get it to work in Scope environment and I have found that since I am using drum triggers, there is the inevitable crosstalk associated with using different (trigger) modules so I will have to look at a complete solution I suppose.

Update: I got the MIDI port working Pulsar2 MIDI A Source Out routed to In Sequencer Midi Dest 1
