Changing a Luna/Powersampler card in a multiple card system

Post by Jonathan T »

Happy New Year Planet Z!

I have a three card Luna system. One of the cards is failing (hardware issues) and I am replacing it with one of two new spares I have.

Do I need to uninstall my Scope software environment before doing this and start again or can I just add the new board keyfile when it asks for it? At present I have a single keyfile from Soniccore which covers all three existing boards. Should I request a whole new keyfile from Soniccore that applies to the new board setup?

Thanks

Jonathan

you don't need to do anything except connect the s/tdm cable and install the new card's driver. if extra keys are needed because previously those keys were attached to the broken card, then you would just import the new keyfle. only one card per computer needs keys.

Many thanks to Gary B for issuing a new keyfile for my updated card setup, installed smoothly and worked perfectly. Very impressive technical support.
