direct outs in the 16/32 mixer

Post by Gary_101 »

hi guys

that 16/32 mixer has a whole row of direct outs on the right side marked with D's

i cant' seem to see any switches or anything as far as how to route a channel strip to these direct outs.

can anyone please explain?

also - when I'm loading the ASIO source & dest modules, scope doesn't seem to allow
connection between the Direct Out's and the ASIO DEST MODULE. when I hover the
mouse over the D's after clicking on the ASIO terminal, I get the spinning cursor only.

thanks for any input ...

the direct outs on the mixer are just that, the direct output for each and every channel, just like a hardware mixer. the signal goes in the input, through the gain pot, auxs, eq, fader and direct out. there's nothing to assign. busses need to be assigned, but direct outs are always available.

when manually connecting(you can also connect in the live bar, see the manual), i find the clicking on the name of the port begind the arrow works reliably and quickly. clicking on the green or red arrow is troublesome.

same method here, don't try to hit the tiny terminal spot, but click on the label instead
... and you can ignore the spinning cursor (imho it's meaningless in the routing window), just click on :D

cheers, Tom
