The new drivers for Matrox DualHead use, as found one the Windows Update site, make your 2 monitors act as one screen, with double resolution width. Like my monitor now is now on 2048*768. Pop-us appear right in the middle of the 'new' wide monitor. Cut in two by 2 1-inch monitor edges.
Gonna uninstall them, and hope I can find the previous drivers here on my disk.

Pulsars running ok for now.

You know, I have the same default screen size on my 450 Millenium, while in the past it was 860 by whatever. I've got SonarXL and SoundForgeV on my 1.3 Gig Athlon with Biostar Board and 761 chip.
Just recently, with track making (I don't know if this is the "new" screen resolution), I find the processing of my tracks (I record audio only), opening up PulsarI/LunaII first, then opening SonarXL for the recording, then opening SoundForgeV which is integrated with Sonar) to add normalization, compression, dynamics and EQ...I find the time to complete these steps time doubled, like half my 512 DDR Ram has disappeared. Using the software approach has turned into molasses while before, at the lower resolution, these tweeks were done in just a few seconds on avg 5-meg audio files. Seems I should also reinstall from the 450 Matrox CD, but have hesitated to do it, as I AM contemplating moving from WPro2000 OS to XL. That is, if I can get XL on all three computers....hmmmm....

i changed it back to 'Separate Resolutions for each monitor'. used the online uninstaller from Matrox, then installed previous drivers from a backup cd.
successfully.
