Exception Error When loading project

Post by Refrochia »

Hi
Wondering if anyone has seen this problem and knows how to fix or prevent it?
When loading a project that has a number of CC assignments to the mixer (STM4896) I get an Exception error:

PepDisplayObject::MoveAllRoutings: invalid pad name (Pad1)

Also, any open surface has a bizaar white with red triangle background?

I've attached pics of both.

Once I click OK, the project continues to load and the strange graphics go away and everything works as it should - CC assignments included.

Its not a major problem because this particular project continues to load after clicking ok but this is the 2nd time its happened - the 1st time I wasnt as fortunate and the project would load but not work.

Following that I started to save different project versions as I made more CC assignments, starting with the faders then pan then the mute buttons. The project I saved after assigning CCs to the mute buttons generates the error when loaded.

Just for info, Im assigning the following CC's

0 Main Mix fader
1-24 Channels 1-24 fader
26-49 Channels 1-24 pan
50 Main mix mute
51-74 Channels 1-24 mute

Any ideas? Its a strange one.

Thanks
R

if you want saved automation to work properly, make a midi preset for the device and then load the preset once the project loads. something is corrupted in that project, but it's a minor issue.
