In a recent animation requiring 5.1 surround (my 1st serious attempt) I have started setting up for a surround mix in scope but getting daunted by the extra hassle compared to keeping it in my daw. Especially the clunky midi automation and dead spots in the panner.
Anybody with experience in this? Is it worth the hassle?
