I absoloutely love this girl. Somebody made sure Ballet and Classical training as a child kept her busy, and then she took it the rest of the way.
I am so weary of the BOOV-BOOV stuff and Mr T starter kits, this was refreshing....

I'd still rather hear her really rip on some classical tracks.
She's got quite a schtick going on - including playing off the Skyrim soundtrack.

That's really classy - Bringing Dub Step to the connaiseurs of classical music and ballet or is it the other way around, I get confused...

Re: Dub Step Version Of Celtic Women
what she's playing sounds like an arpeggio practice etude tho. Great concept, just wished there was a bit more musical depth in the melody line.

Beautiful! But I agree with Ken here.

Re: Dub Step Version Of Celtic Women
Wow.That was terrible!Matter of taste but uarg....
Re: Dub Step Version Of Celtic Women
Well I am a music lover not a critic, what can I say...
Apparently she has a good little following that allows her to do film and performance, once she gets through the commercially acceptable stage of her career, I am quite sure she has more to offer then the non offensive simplicity that seems to get YouTube viewers worked up.

I also like this rather sick video, and I am sure it has caused an emotive response from many, but I happen to like the idea that this angry Metal or whatever they call it has keyboard melodies, so more bad tastes I'd thought I'd share...

LOL! She's a SkyRim crowd heart-throb. Cute gal and catchy tunes but the videos are hilariously corny.
Re: Dub Step Version Of Celtic Women
Yes, very corny indeed. Also, I think that maybe a bit too much cocain was present at the product development meeting at the record company when someone came up with the "inspired" fusion of violin, ballet and dubstep.yayajohn wrote:LOL! ... it sure would be the highlight of a Renaissance Festival or gamers convention though. Hot chicks are usually not plentiful
Re: Dub Step Version Of Celtic Women
Oh, I don't think the Cocaine is that good anymore, probably extacy.
I can do a line the size of a rat tail and before I could do a tiny spoon when it was attached to the bottle to get the same effect.

I hear she really whails live though from the Ampitube guys. I will check her out in Vegas when she comes, but if it;s a tape deck and live fiddle I;ll bolt.
More and more of these young starlets are using pre recorded muZAK and that's where I will draw the line.'
If they cant find a keyboardist to play the parts, at least get a DJ keyboardist who triggers a lick with the keyboard, but to walk over and play woith a QWERTY after paying 50 bucks..............there's no way I could clap. I dont see her doing that, but she will need some room for the pixie dance.....
Still love her tone and ntonation though, just some more Mahavishnu type of stuff or even a quartet, with her dancing around half naked, and the musicians all with shades and Mr. T starter kits....

Re: Dub Step Version Of Celtic Women
Actually if you poke around some of her other videos, it sounds as though she can actually play.
I guess I'm jealous that she gets to dance around in beautiful places playing her instrument.
Oh wait..... I've actually done that....
