VRC 128 licence key ??

Post by MrV »

Hello ,

I bought a 2nd hand Pulsar 1 card for use in a spare portable Scope system
and I need the VRC128 module , as I'm in the process of compiling adat tape
master archives.
VRC128 is licenced on one of my other systems... but it's been a few years now.

Was VRC128 plugin part of a Studio Tools package or a standalone module ?

I wrote to Sonic Core a month ago about this but they did not reply .

How do I get a licence key for this plugin now ?

Regards , Michael

Actually I know a guy here in town who uses it to integrate his ADAT tapes for archiving.
But while it can be used to control VDATs, it's kind of a PITA live, and is the only device in Scope that makes me come over and play with the QWERTY.
It's also why when I recorded using VDAT, we actually would string along 10 tunes at a time, and then I could use the Transports on my KS88, but never took the chance of hitting pause or stop, as it was a crap shoot.

Ok ,thanks chaps .. well Gary .. I've been using it for some years now on my other system as a multiple
machine controller and it works great ... I've just forgotten what package the licence was in... ok cool,
so you say it's the VDAT licence. I realise I can run my syncing without it but using the VRC128 is better ..

Hey Jimmy what's a PITA ? :)

Cheers , Michael

MIDI Transport Controls when merging with Clock to Click for a click track.
Other than that, and recalling of projects/songs it's a great device that makes VDAT worthy of live use.
