Cheapskate.
Go buy it from sonic core and support them.

Re: Any xite1 or 1d for Sale?
i understand what you mean... but on the other hand i left a lot money for the scope platform years ago and it ends up for me as a disaster- came from mac- heavy max user- that time there was no max for windows and scope went away from mac... so i had to make a decision and after using them in a separate machine for a while i sold the cards (for peanuts compared what i paid for cards + ad ons... meanwhile spend money for uad1... they let them run out (would not spent a cent anymore in uad and i really like the idea behind scope much more and i know they try to be as user-friendly as they can)
than when purchasing a xite i have to buy licenses again (would pay the 3. time for a bx digital) - i don't want to complain but i know that every buck i can save will go into the platform anyway.. the only difference is what i get for it...
also what makes me decide to jump on scope again is the announcement of scope 6 and that it will be open for other platforms... who knows how long this will take... of cause support could be a good idea to make things going...i spend money for several mac only software i am really happy with. as long as there is no cross platform support i again can just decide to trough money away getting some windows software to work with or i have to keep my metric halo interface for now wich is only working on mac...wich than makes it harder to free money for an xite.. so with this background i am not so exited an super optimistic and therefore i don't have the feeling to invest for something everlasting...(i hope but i am skeptical) i heard a lot about features coming from the metric halo distribution... wainting for years.. bad experience counting on scope... now i would even accept leaving the macplatform and loose the money for software licenses when there would be some improvements in scope like osc support or other highres control options announced for scope 6 ... would like to use lemur for control... but will it come? when? so from my experience i am the one making wrong decisions... so investing in xite could be another wrong one... so i feel better investing in a way that somehow keeps the value..
lot of words however... i just felt to state out the background- i usually not just behind getting everything for cheap and i pay for software of companies i like even if i could easily use cracks...

Wow your sentences are long, didn't get through all that, sorry. Maybe try traditional sentences and paragraphs next time.
Sadly it looks like you made all the wrong decisions. Personally when I had a G4 I stayed on it until it died and then moved to PC as a thought Apple's decision to have no PCI ports on their newer machines (but only have their ever so useful PCI-X slots) was bullshit. For me Scope is more important than any computer. I then used the cards until last year when I could transfer all my licences to the XITE.
Anyway, I was going to suggest perhaps trying dual-boot OS on your Mac. I don't know if anyone's tried it - I'm sure they have on Pro Books, not sure about towers though.
You talk about expensive stuff like Lemur and Metric Halo but don't want to spend on Scope. Maybe you need to concentrate on what your priorities are before making any decision as currently you have a bit of a scatter-gun approach.
If you had an XITE-1 rather than XITE-1D you could sell that Metric Halo as I bet the XITE-1 has all the interfacing you need.

Re: Any xite1 or 1d for Sale?
Well if i was in love with logic i'd buy a mac, it doesn't work on a pc does it.
Anyhows the scope 5.1 software comes with nearly every single device sonic core (creamware) has to offer.
You sold your old licenses at a price you agreed, so you will have to buy new ones for the stuff you want not included in the 5.1 scope package.
I wouldn't sell a car (which i had moded and pimped up) at half price i bought it for and then expect to get a new model of car from the same manufaturer for cheaper and include pimped out mods i had done to the old car? (does this analogy make sense?)
But yeah, good luck in finding a second hand xite-1, i know i won't be selling mine any time soon.
My initial post was ment to be tounge in cheek.
Sorry if i offended.

Re: Any xite1 or 1d for Sale?
I hope you find one, but most folks won't let go of theirs no matter how long/soon their progrss is.
I have had the Soniccore search on ebay for 4 x 6 month periods, as they make you do another search/repeat every 6 months and never saw one yet.
Can't blame you, if you can get one cheap, get it.
But IMHO Scope 7 or 8 will be out before you see a used XITE-1 on ebay.

More Reaktion here than i would have expected...
So the more i compare scope to other Plattformen it seems to be the biggest mistake i made was Not just to Switch over to Windows years ago... Guess i will sell stuff until i can buy a new xite 1 and just Run two Systems on my Maschine for a while (Glad that this is possible via bootcamp) than maby get rid of Mac once i have a useful setup and Substitutes for the Software i currently use. Seems that Apple is anyway going in a Direction away from proffessional use in Audio/Video. Think they make more millions with iphones, PAds, Apple tvs, iTunes, AppStore etc.... So i just Hope my Money will help soniccore to survife and realize what they work on...
Feels a Bit like political Engagement... Seeing that the cards i Sold years ago would still be Supportes by current versions of scope Is Impressiv enough to belive that there will be long term support. ( i belive when uad decided not to support uad1 anymore its because they WANT it, and not Only for technical reasons)
Doesnt mean i woulnt be interested in a used xite anymore but i guess you are right that the Chance to find one is going to Zero... What on the other Hand is a Good sign when everybody is so happy with it...
So Long guys, will Show up here later again when finaly on scope again
