Check your master/slave settings, what are you connecting the SPDIF output to?
You will need a little adapter, 1/8" stereo mini jack to Left RCA, Right RCA, one side is Stereo SPDIF Input, the other Stereo SPDIF Output.
If you've got the wiring right, then if you could give more information to your setup, that would help give you a better answer.
