It's been ghost-ware for a long time now.
I don't even think it's gone beta yet.
Yes, it APPEARS to be mostly an emulation of Ableton Live.

I am still liking Reaper for stability and playback, but I am starting to use MIDI and Effects envelopes more and the MIDI needs some loving.
I have seen a mad programmer using DP/Mac and transferring sessions into PTools here who impressed the hell out of me.
He claimed MIDI workflow in DP was the best. I might try the Windows demo next month as word is it's going to be released within days. And Motu actually does what they say with hardware, hopefully the software ETAs ae the same.
I bought their 8 x 8 MIDI/SPMTE unit to replace my ancient DMC MX8.
Lets hope it lasts as long as that ancient kit.
