Using Volkzsampler independant of XTC mode

How do I do it? My sequencer (logic OR cubase) will not load Volkzsampler unless Pulsar is in XTC mode? From what I understood, Volkszsampler was out BEFORE XTC, no? eh?

Weird, eh? But yeah, Volkszampler only works in XTC mode AFAIK.
