So they work 'eh?
I gave up on any 3rd party synths except Modular.
When you go from 8-16 voices down to 3 or 4, I see no need, so I just bought the hardware version instead.

Best sounding synth I have ever played, and FWIW Modular x-y Controller is controlled by Solaris joystick, and using Bowen CEM Saw Pair, and Flexor Saw and Square Width Oscillars with the 4 way Filter is devastating.

I have been in mourning since I sold my Matrix12/XPander combo to finance the XITE-1 and Solaris, but Kicking Bird of the Lakota Sioux spoke to me in a vision, and said " You will mourn no more. "
Next day Solaris was on my porch in the hot sun...... :D

Ahhhh... SOLARis in the SUN.

I get it.

4 -voices is enough for me to layer in comping chords on top of my solo-ish guitar lines.
Fun stuff.
Layer this with P4, Atze, Modular/OBX, and I'm BURIED in frequencies.

Turns out I already have all these files, but still get the missing .vxd messages and it's still impossible to get past two voices.

I'll poke these guys at NAMM and get 'em to fix this issue once and for all.

Carry on,

Looks like I'm getting missing VxD errors for Solaris V5.0 and also Quantum Wave. I have the latest version of Scope installed and the last version of Solaris released.

I presume this is a known problem? Does anyone know what the issue is? It's a shame really, it's a great sounding synth and it's also a very expensive one I can't use :(

John Bowen is aware of this issue. The .vxd's are redundant.
If you click through them, then the synths SHOULD work - albeit perhaps limited voices.

John has to find some time to fix this.

I'll poke him again to see what the status is.

if you're in 64bit, then John needs to redo the sys files for 64bit.
