VDAT not working

Post by nigel1961 »

Im new to this forum so i apologize if this has been mentioned before but i have just bought a pulsar 2 card and purchased the scope 5.1 upgrade. When loading the VDAT device i got an error message saying something about a DSP file! none of the transport buttons worked. and even after creating a tape it still said no tape. The solution is to set the scope.exe to run with administrator privileges, now it all seems to work. Hope this helps someone. ps this is on windows 7.

is Scope being "run as administrator"? right click on the icon and choose "run as administrator".

without administrator rights VDAT won't work in win7.

here (scope v5.1 on win 7 64)
the VDAT settings doesn't work, we can't modify settings like resolution (16bit by default) nb of vdat wave format etc ... we can just create a tape name and the lenght is 1 min
