Solaris In Realtime

Post by dawman »

Of course there'a a crappy 20 dollar drum kit in there, quantized and swung from the Groove Tool in Reaper, but the other 3 tracks are unquantized and played in realtime.

Finally had a chance to hear this mix on decent speaker - it blows. I can envisage this as a soundtrack to some Travel documentary, with wide open beaches, stop-frame fast motion cars through Vegas and hang gliding over breathtaking cliffs. Great stuff.

oops, almost missed this... it's not the other one... :o
I like the slightly gritty drums as contrast - and the lead taking of into space a couple of times in the last third. 8)
Jean-Luc is old enough to retire anyway... :D
Soundtrack hits it perfectly - thumbs up

cheers, Tom

Synths sounds are totally of my taste, wonderfull atmospheres too, nice music and very nice playing. :) I would probably put a more natural drum sound.
