I don't know how or where this all went bad. The other day I noticed that Scope wasn't showing the true number of DSP's installed in my system and then I realized that the drivers for my XTC card weren't installed. I have a Scope Pro and an XTC card (only used for added DSP). But for some reason my system only recognizes the Scope Pro card. I tried reinstalling the drivers for the XTC card but I always end up at a screen asking me for the location of the drivers and a file called scScope.sys.
WHen I point to the file on my hard drive and click OK it does nothing. I've tried uninstalling Scope and the drivers and reinstalling from scratch and always the same problem. I am using Scope V5.0. I don't recall ever having had a problem installing the drivers before and it's been a while since I did my last OS installtion. Any ideas what might be wrong?
Problem installing XTC card/driver
Re: Problem installing XTC card/driver
Doesn't look good ...
Check if yoiur cards are recognized in your windows harware manager, uninstall scope, remove card and clean PCI connectors then reinstall.
If your cards are not recognized ... ring soniccore for an RMA
cheers

Re: Problem installing XTC card/driver
what version are you on?
Re: Problem installing XTC card/driver
the problem is solved - thanks for your replies. I don't know exactly what went wrong but obviously something to do with Win XP. I reinstalled XP (from a backup archive) and reinstalled Scope and all is as it should be again. Thanks again!
