Hi everyone,
I am trying for three weeks now to get my Studio up and running. I have a PowerMac G4 equipped with a Pulsar 2 and an Elektra Card. Sound works fine, but I can't record. I have Cubase VST 5.1. The Problem is, the OMS Driver can't be loaded. So I can't get the Cards to show up in Cubase. I even installed everything again, but still the same Problem.
If anyone has a working Creamware OMS Driver, I would appreciate making Contact.
cheers
Greg

Is this problem only with MIDI or you don't see audio channels?

in Scope 4 the driver is in the drivers folder within the Scope folder and there's an OMS Installer in 'OMS Setup' folder.
It's more likely that the installer fails due to pathnames and not because the files are missing.
You may have to handle that manually - I don't know the details of OMS, even if I know old Macs fairly well, never understood what it was about.
Don't worry about version. Must be ages old as it's M68k code... lol...
lots of the old familiar 4E71 'Return from Subroutine' instruction codes
cheers, Tom

Wow, that was my system about 7 or 8 years ago. Worked well. I seem to recall that I often had to manually copy the OMS driver from Scope (one of the subfolders in the App folder I think, hunt around) into Cubase's driver folder.
