Now..i think short description is worth. Since i tried numerous crappy MIDI patchbays and i want to say that out there there is a ton of really crappy midi devices. I tried various brands such as (now discontinued) Steinberg Midex, Motu patchbays, ESI and so on. I stopped on Edirol because it has hands down best drivers on the planet. You have Mac support, native Win7 support (yes even 64 bit) and overall edirol is rock solid device with fantastic midi stability. Forget midi lag or out of sync problems. I am selling this one but i am going to keep Edirol UM-880 which is basically same thing just more IO and rack mounting device (even driver is same). I tried Edirol devices on various different configurations and setup and i t always worked perfectly - for which is why i praise it.
