the link has the first four tracks of ten. i recorded, mixed, and helped with production. i hear one of these(i believe it's the title track) is currently numero uno in rotation in Utah or some such place(really!). i dunno, i enjoyed the sessions.

i also recorded, mixed, etc on the other album on the site, but not all of the recording sessions were mine, maybe half were done earlier in another studio. see if you can tell which one's were 100% Scope or which instruments were recorded through Scope and which ones were on another system...

I was thinking the same thing since I am an avid fan of Dr. Bennie Maupin and his Bass Clarinet works.
The sound of this seems the BClar had the mic further away than most recordings I have heard.
Not that it sounded better/worse, just different.
Especially the Reeds' ambature...

the Bass Clarinet was recorded with my do-everything Soundelux U99 through a Millenia HV-3.

no tracks had everyone in the same room, but most were the actual performance. editing was limited.

the live drums were for the most part(with one or two exceptions) in my studio, but ALL were through my Scope system. i got that "analog warmth" thing down, anyway....
