installing scope without keys?

Hi. im building a music computer for my big brother.
I have an old pulsar1 card that i want to use in his computer. It only has scope 4.0 - i dont have the original keys for it anymore.

So my question is: Can i install scope 5.0 or 4.0 without any keys, and just use 3rd party plugins? Does the installer ask for keys at any time? I dont remember anymore:)

you will need keys. i'd request v4 keys from S|C, if you didn't want to buy v5.
