I want one....It is exciting to see SC staying Pro by using MADI.

Does this mean we will see a MADI Module sometime soon..?
Maybe the XITE-1 Headphone Source, and XITE-1 Mic DI Destinations will be renamed.
I never understood their purpose actually...

Beautiful piece of kit.

Wow, impressive! 192kHz, MADI, 32channels for less than 1200eu! 8)
This sure opens perspective on future high samplerate support, and of course on interconnectivity with MADI

Hi guys,

Gary, thanks for announcing "my" A16 MK-II !!! ;-)

I hope you guys like it, I had to listen almost 10 years for complaints for the old A16 ultra, so I tried to put EVERYTHING in what I had on the wish list...if I forgot something, please not tell me :-)

Are the MIDI connections for adjusting the input at the analog stages (pre conversion)?

Looks great!

only thing i miss is an animated glowing tube in each display to make it sound phat.

;)
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort.

Looks very promising! :)

Just a bit too late though for the A16... At work, we just bought two digico SD8's with racks filled with MADI I/O's. Would have loved to have some SC-related device in there...

Yes, the levels and gains can be controlled via MIDI and also directly on the frontpanel
We have some stylish faders (but only slightly glowing...) to do this in the gui.

Looks quite nice and the additionnal connexion are welcome.

Maybe you could provide the dual display feature to SC to integrate it on the Xite 1 for standalone control mode: each one being able to display one plugin "virtual frontpanel" to allow easy project loading and more marketing insight in shops (show what is inside).

Currently, no. But this opens perspectives... Not that I'd consider running 192kHz myself for now, but then again it makes me think: If future Scope products support 192kHz, they sure must be stable at 96kHz - a sample rate I would love to use for synthesis :D

[edit: to come back to your quote, the "plugins" work at any sample rate. It's the DSP system that currently doesn't run 192kHz.]

After heaing Solaris and also seeing the artifacts disappear on the Sine wave demo using 96k, I can say that is something I look forward to also.
Perhaps the difference isn't that noticable in the mid ranges, but the highs appear to better tuned and the lows are tighter since the waveforms have less smearing from the artifacts.
But 192k shows me that Jurgen isn't going anywhere for another few years or so.
I hope to get to NAMM so I can see the guys and see this + Solaris...
The Founding Fathers are so much fun too.. :D
