Scope Guitar Tuners

Post by dawman »

Does anyone have any information on how GuTu is suppose to work...?
I have the pdf. which has no information on the various LED's purpose.
For example.
I cant tell if I am sharp or flat.
I need this for some headphone night time rehersals where I am breaking in a new Guitarist and as usual he's very talented, has no money, has no car, has no real home and has no tuner.
This is Par for the course, but still the chap has chops so I dont mind being his daddy.

Thanks.

During rehearsal when the drummer was bashing the crap outta the crash cymbals I just put my ear to the guitar body to tune it. Guitar tuners were never any good because you tune the thing in open tuning then its outta tune for bar chords, even the expensive gibsons with lower action, although the action I got there was better than with the barmaids.

If he got no car and no money, best to teach him Alice Coopers 'Lost In America' song.
